A collision led to Pembroke FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Tommy Nelson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stan Stevens in the 9th minute of play forced Murmungee's goalkeeper Brynn Dowsing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bryanne Sinden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martyon Palmington kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. When Bryanne Sinden came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Murmungee fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bryanne Sinden couldn't finish the play. Stan Stevens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Randle Wright hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chuck Aylwin during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pembroke FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Jeffray Diefenbach hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Murmungee's Irwin Lingwoodock sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlisle Baxter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31st match minute, Pembroke FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nichol Trenoweth to maneuver through the defense. Randle Wright blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlisle Baxter having to make a save. In the 34th match minute, Pembroke FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martyon Palmington to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnie Walkington in the 36th minute of play forced Murmungee's goalkeeper Brynn Dowsing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Pembroke FC booed when Murmungee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Randle Wright didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Martyon Palmington recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Brynn Dowsing. Martyon Palmington showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Martyon Palmington recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Stan Stevens made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Pembroke FC got a corner. Murmungee's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Larry Solomon ran over to the corner to take the kick. Larry Solomon made a great header on Pembroke FC's corner, it was just that Murmungee's Brynn Dowsing managed to reach the ball for a save. Nichol Trenoweth hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When James Obrien came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Murmungee fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that James Obrien couldn't finish the play. If Bryanne Sinden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute of the match Tommy Nelson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brynn Dowsing showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 64th minute, Jaffery Merz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Murmungee's goal looked a bit too open when Martyon Palmington came free, but Brynn Dowsing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 played minutes Pembroke FC got a freekick which was hit by Nichol Trenoweth. When Nichol Trenoweth fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pembroke FC's protests and gave Nichol Trenoweth a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd minute, Nichol Trenoweth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Pembroke FC's Nichol Trenoweth got a free kick in the 75th minute. Irwin Lingwoodock struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Carlisle Baxter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Murmungee. If James Obrien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Pembroke FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Martyon Palmington hit a great ball. Irwin Lingwoodock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Carlisle Baxter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Pembroke FC could leave the field as winners, despite Murmungee having more of the ball for most of the match.
