Kevin Brien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Curtis Mcinnis struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Donovan Wege didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Springcliff. When Bill Tarrant came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Springcliff fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bill Tarrant couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brayden Bailey to make the kick off. When Curtis Mcinnis came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Springcliff fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Curtis Mcinnis couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Keefer Sylvester during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 73 played minutes Springcliff got a freekick which was hit by Bill Tarrant. If Brayden Bailey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute Ringo Mcvicar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murphy Gorham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bill Tarrant kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Brayden Bailey struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Murphy Gorham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carlton F.C. 1-1 became the score in the 81st minute when Brayden Bailey elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Kevin Brien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Springcliff players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Carlton F.C from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
