Jamese Bleazard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundson Stevenson in the 5th minute of play. In the 10thth minute of the game Brand Millgate who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Harcourt's Brye Coburn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brye Coburn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brand Millgate's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Andy Johnson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brye Coburn having to interfere. Brye Coburn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Johnson, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Clarke Gronow's late challenge caught a Tonga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clarke Gronow helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, Clarke Gronow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brand Millgate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Brye Coburn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brand Millgate in the 25th minute of play forced Harcourt's goalkeeper Brye Coburn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute of the match Jasmine Turnor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brye Coburn skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Brand Millgate managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tonga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brand Millgate was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 35 played minutes Harcourt got a freekick which was hit by Ren Snabl. Andy Johnson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brye Coburn having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Ren Snabl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Harcourt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tonga the free kick. Ren Snabl kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brand Millgate stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Harcourt's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jasmine Turnor was slow to take the kick. During this time Tonga's players had a chance to rest. After 56 minutes, Bryant Powderham mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tonga and the Harcourt players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Tonga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryant Powderham to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 57 minutes, Dakota Aylwin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harcourt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dakota Aylwin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martyon Beer helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Harcourt booed when Tonga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martyon Beer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dakota Aylwin in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jamese Bleazard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 73 minutes into the game, Edmundson Stevenson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jamese Bleazard was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 78 minutes into the game, Irwin Johnston was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tonga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harcourt the free kick. Carlisle Twite succeeded in the game's 79th minute to get real power on a long shot . Tonga's Jamese Bleazard hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 2-0! 85 minutes into the game, Tonga's Andy Johnson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brye Coburn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Dakota Aylwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tonga's Jamese Bleazard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundson Stevenson in the 93rd minute of play.
