Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Stan Ward made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Collaroy's Eavan Mcvicar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Darin Gavin. Darin Gavin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When Stan Ward came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Collaroy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stan Ward couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fleming Carragher in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cullen Royans saved Collaroy from getting behind. In the 19th match minute, Collaroy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davey Byrnes to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute Fleming Carragher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cullen Royans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cullen Royans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fleming Carragher in the 22nd minute of the match. Fleming Powderham charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fleming Powderham the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Wallinduc's Fleming Powderham got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute, Fleming Carragher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cullen Royans was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Stan Ward received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Darin Gavin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cullen Royans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corder Grandison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fleming Carragher in the 37th minute of play forced Collaroy's goalkeeper Cullen Royans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Corder Grandison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cullen Royans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 played minutes, Collaroy's Hal Brading shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Darin Gavin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Collaroy reached it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Corder Grandison was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute of the match Hal Brading shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Darin Gavin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ace Orvad charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ace Orvad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The goalkeeper, Cullen Royans, was totally fooled by Wallinduc's Allen Matthes, who 61 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 75th minute, Myles Mcmanamny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute of the match Ace Orvad sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Darin Gavin skillfully saved the ball. Stan Ward sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fleming Carragher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cullen Royans having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Stan Ward managed to get in a good position for a shot. Collaroy's supporters rose to their feet, but Stan Ward was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darin Gavin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eavan Mcvicar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darin Gavin having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Wallinduc eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
