Rolando Jobson scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Darin Gavin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20thth minute of the game Rolando Jobson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wallinduc's Darin Gavin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Wallinduc's goal looked a bit too open when Rich Allen came free, but Darin Gavin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duncan Devere hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Nick Fitzsimmons kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Martin Gorham was a little too slow when Fleming Carragher got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-1. A collision led to Wallinduc getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Dwight Beverley hit a great ball. Grove's Martin Gorham proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Grove from getting a goal against them. Andrews Blagburn kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Corder Grandison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Martin Gorham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corder Grandison succeeded in the game's 48th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Corder Grandison stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Darin Gavin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolando Jobson in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute, Fleming Carragher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 60 minutes, Corder Grandison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wallinduc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Corder Grandison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute, Rolando Jobson made a precise shot to the right of Darin Gavin. Wallinduc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Dwight Beverley hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. A long shot from Barney Muller in the 76th minute of play was well struck, but Darin Gavin made a really good save at the right post. In the 77th match minute, Wallinduc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allen Matthes to maneuver through the defense. Rich Allen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Darin Gavin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rick Pywell fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wallinduc's protests and gave Rick Pywell a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Wallinduc getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Rick Pywell hit a great ball. Rich Allen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Darin Gavin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
