Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Stan Ward made the kick off which started today's match. Myles Mcmanamny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birrell Gorham having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tyagarah's zone, Stan Ward stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Birrell Gorham came out of the goal and Stan Ward tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Nathan Howard came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Tyagarah fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nathan Howard couldn't finish the play. Myles Mcmanamny charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Myles Mcmanamny the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, Myles Mcmanamny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13thth minute of the game Eavan Mcvicar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tyagarah's Birrell Gorham was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Bennett Lenard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Collaroy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tyagarah the free kick. After a rather tough play, Collaroy's Bennett Lenard got a free kick in the 19th minute. If Nathan Howard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute Stan Ward shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birrell Gorham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nathan Howard might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cullen Royans. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nathan Howard ran back to his position shaking his head. Birrell Gorham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eavan Mcvicar in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Stan Ward shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birrell Gorham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carleton Heys could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Cullen Royans made a huge save. Carleton Heys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Cullen Royans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carleton Heys to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Collaroy's zone, Nathan Howard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cullen Royans came out of the goal and Nathan Howard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Eavan Mcvicar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eavan Mcvicar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Birrell Gorham made a huge save. After 66 played minutes Collaroy got a freekick which was hit by Bennett Lenard. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Stan Ward sped through Tyagarah's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Birrell Gorham. Eavan Mcvicar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Birrell Gorham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eavan Mcvicar in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Birrell Gorham, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 82nd minute, Hal Brading hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cullen Royans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Buck Brooks in the 83rd minute of play. Nathan Howard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cullen Royans having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Carleton Heys managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tyagarah's supporters rose to their feet, but Carleton Heys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cullen Royans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the game, Stan Ward recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Birrell Gorham. Stan Ward showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. If Stan Ward had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Collaroy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tyagarah.
