Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carleton Heys kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Wallinduc's Darin Gavin got control of the ball when Nathan Howard tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corder Grandison in the 8th minute of play forced Tyagarah's goalkeeper Birrell Gorham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The goalkeeper, Darin Gavin, was totally fooled by Tyagarah's Buck Brooks, who 10 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Corder Grandison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute Fleming Carragher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birrell Gorham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Tyagarah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keith Hinwood to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 22 minutes, Corder Grandison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wallinduc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Corder Grandison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wallinduc's Darin Gavin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carleton Heys in the 28th minute of play. Fleming Powderham took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Birrell Gorham. Tyagarah's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Corder Grandison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keith Hinwood kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Wallinduc were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Tyagarah's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Allen Matthes took the corner. In the 44th minute, Corder Grandison got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Corder Grandison to strike the kick off in the second half. Darin Gavin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carleton Heys in the 52nd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Tyagarah's goalkeeper Birrell Gorham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Corder Grandison. 72 minutes into the game, Rick Pywell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wallinduc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tyagarah the free kick. After 72 played minutes Wallinduc got a freekick which was hit by Rick Pywell. Darin Gavin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathan Howard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Wallinduc booed when Tyagarah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carleton Heys didn't get a good kick on the ball. Birrell Gorham made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fleming Carragher in the 76th minute. Wallinduc's Corder Grandison got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fleming Carragher struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Birrell Gorham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wallinduc. Fleming Carragher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 85th minute Corder Grandison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birrell Gorham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Corder Grandison in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Birrell Gorham prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fleming Carragher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Birrell Gorham made a huge save. 93 minutes into the match, Tyagarah's goalkeeper Birrell Gorham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fleming Carragher. Darin Gavin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carleton Heys's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Tyagarah could leave the field as winners, despite Wallinduc having more of the ball for most of the match.
