Neville Dollymore started the match with the kick off. Meyer Lamb could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Tony Stafford made a huge save. Marshal Everett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Bath Nelson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bath Nelson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marshal Everett in the 10th minute of play. In the 12thth minute of the game Jemmett Hauschildt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wakool's Bath Nelson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th match minute, woolston foundry was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bray Feutrill to maneuver through the defense. Baxter Mcgaw charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baxter Mcgaw the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jemmett Hauschildt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tony Stafford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Meyer Lamb, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. woolston foundry's Jemmett Hauschildt got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Wakool booed when woolston foundry was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ethan Hicks didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd match minute, woolston foundry was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jemmett Hauschildt to maneuver through the defense. Tony Stafford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neville Dollymore in the 35th minute of play. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Marshal Everett sped through Wakool's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bath Nelson. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Jemmett Hauschildt put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bath Nelson. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marshal Everett made a kick off. If Jemmett Hauschildt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jack Greenbank during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 played minutes Wakool got a freekick which was hit by Jack Greenbank. woolston foundry's Tony Stafford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meyer Lamb in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute Marshal Everett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bath Nelson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Neville Dollymore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neville Dollymore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tony Stafford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neville Dollymore, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After a rather tough play, Wakool's Lauder Millgate got a free kick in the 74th minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Jemmett Hauschildt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. woolston foundry's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jemmett Hauschildt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Marshal Everett fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jemmett Hauschildt got free with Bath Nelson in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Meyer Lamb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Tony Stafford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tony Stafford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neville Dollymore in the 97th minute of the match. The Wakool supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching woolston foundry's performance. The match ended with a win for woolston foundry.
