Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Antony Telfer took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Antony Telfer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brice Knaack made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brad Curtis in the 8th minute. Antony Telfer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th match minute, Minmindie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Matthes to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Overpaid Plebs's Biggs Colman tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Brad Curtis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Minmindie's goal looked a bit too open when Grant Hilton came free, but Case Trezise reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brice Knaack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berne Hanlen in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Berne Hanlen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minmindie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berne Hanlen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brice Knaack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berne Hanlen, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Laurence Sawbridge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Case Trezise having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Berne Hanlen made the kick off in the second half. Brice Knaack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brad Curtis in the 52nd minute of the match. Berne Hanlen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Brice Knaack tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, Minmindie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bjorn Whatman to maneuver through the defense. Berne Hanlen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grant Hilton hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. If Berne Hanlen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Brad Curtis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minmindie's supporters rose to their feet, but Brad Curtis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brice Knaack breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brice Knaack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brad Curtis in the 69th minute of the match. Bleyd Mcjunkins kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Brice Knaack didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brad Curtis went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Minmindie getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Russell Flesfader hit a great ball. Brad Curtis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 87 played minutes Minmindie got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Matthes. In the 92nd minute, Antony Telfer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Minmindie were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Overpaid Plebs for a fine match.
