Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tony Stafford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Matthes, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. When Brad Curtis came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Minmindie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brad Curtis couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute, Minmindie's Berne Hanlen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tony Stafford. Tony Stafford yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Berne Hanlen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tony Stafford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brad Curtis in the 24th minute of the match. woolston foundry's Tony Stafford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berne Hanlen in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, woolston foundry's Marshal Everett sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Case Trezise narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, woolston foundry's goal looked a bit too open when Berne Hanlen came free, but Tony Stafford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, woolston foundry's Jemmett Hauschildt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Case Trezise narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Minmindie booed when woolston foundry was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jervis Behla didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jemmett Hauschildt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jemmett Hauschildt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Case Trezise having to interfere. In the 45th minute Marshal Everett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Case Trezise saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The wind increased when Marshal Everett made the kick off in the second half. Tony Stafford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berne Hanlen in the 52nd minute of the match. Jemmett Hauschildt succeeded in the game's 55th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Jemmett Hauschildt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Case Trezise made a huge save. Jemmett Hauschildt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Minmindie's Case Trezise played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marshal Everett in the 69th minute of play. woolston foundry's Tony Stafford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brad Curtis in the 73rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Berne Hanlen in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tony Stafford saved woolston foundry from getting behind. Jemmett Hauschildt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Case Trezise firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 94th minute Berne Hanlen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Stafford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The woolston foundry supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing woolston foundry would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
