In the 18th minute, Brook Christian fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jarrod Russell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bath Nelson having to interfere. The supporters of Warnervale booed when Wakool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neville Dollymore didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th match minute, Wakool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Greenbank to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Warnervale's Jarrod Russell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bath Nelson narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brook Christian to strike the kick off in the second half. If Bill Kurth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. In the 58th minute, one of Warnervale:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Warnervale. Jack Greenbank hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. If Jarrod Russell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute Jarrod Russell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bath Nelson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Brayden Woods hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute of the match, Bill Kurth tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Damon Bohn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Neville Dollymore got free with Damon Bohn in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brook Christian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute Brook Christian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bath Nelson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Brook Christian made a precise shot to the right of Bath Nelson. Wakool's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. With his leg Damon Bohn managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Wakool's Neville Dollymore fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Damon Bohn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Neville Dollymore in the 88th minute. Cullen Barclay kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Neville Dollymore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Brook Christian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Warnervale fans cheered their team off the field, for while Wakool had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
