Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Bill Kurth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wakool's supporters rose to their feet, but Bill Kurth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brice Knaack breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 8 played minutes Overpaid Plebs got a freekick which was hit by Grant Hilton. Bath Nelson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurence Sawbridge in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Overpaid Plebs booed when Wakool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brayden Woods didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurence Sawbridge in the 18th minute of play forced Wakool's goalkeeper Bath Nelson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brice Knaack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bill Kurth in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Bill Kurth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wakool fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Lauder Millgate took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Brice Knaack. Overpaid Plebs's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Bill Kurth kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Brice Knaack. That made the score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Overpaid Plebs's goal looked a bit too open when Bill Kurth came free, but Brice Knaack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grant Hilton kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. When Neville Dollymore, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 40 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Brice Knaack was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A collision led to Wakool getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jack Greenbank hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Antony Telfer put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bath Nelson. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Bath Nelson made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Laurence Sawbridge sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Wakool's Brayden Woods got a free kick in the 57th minute. Antony Telfer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Bath Nelson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neville Dollymore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brice Knaack having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Wakool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brayden Woods to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the game, Jack Greenbank was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wakool's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Overpaid Plebs the free kick. If Neville Dollymore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antony Telfer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
