Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dugald Kuch started the match with the kick off. Rick Brady made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Bruno Tenser sent off a good shot on target. In the 13thth minute of the game Patrick Forrest who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lawlers's Edmundson Shorten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th minute, Cod Easther hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14th play minutes Kale Couzens shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Edmundson Shorten and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 19th minute, Kale Couzens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Lawlers booed when Litchfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnard Gledden didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dugald Kuch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 minutes of play, Litchfield's Patrick Forrest made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmundson Shorten was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 30 minutes, Bishop Zalunardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lawlers and the Litchfield players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bishop Zalunardo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Bruno Tenser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrick Forrest blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmundson Shorten having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kale Couzens in the 36th minute of play forced Lawlers's goalkeeper Edmundson Shorten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Patrick Forrest was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Litchfield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lawlers the free kick. In the 39th minute, Patrick Forrest hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kale Couzens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Tarrant hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lawlers's zone, Kale Couzens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmundson Shorten came out of the goal and Kale Couzens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Kale Couzens made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Litchfield's goal looked a bit too open when Dugald Kuch came free, but Rick Brady reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Lawlers's Edmundson Shorten got control of the ball when Barnard Gledden tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dugald Kuch in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rick Brady saved Litchfield from getting behind. Rick Brady showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Tenser, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Boyde Mealmaker's late challenge caught a Lawlers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boyde Mealmaker helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Litchfield:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lawlers:s goal. Rick Brady went to the wrong direction when Arty Lyle was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Edmundson Shorten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kale Couzens, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Bruno Tenser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bruno Tenser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lawlers's Dugald Kuch in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Litchfield's goalie prevented a goal. Patrick Forrest sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dugald Kuch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Litchfield players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
