If Antony Lenard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olin Couzens shot from long distance after 101 played minutes, a shot that Brockman Freel with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. Mark Surman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 103rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close.
