Spectators: 6110 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 10) The Lawlers fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Lawlers's Dugald Kuch looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Bruno Tenser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mark Greenan got free with Edmundson Shorten in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dugald Kuch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brockman Freel having to interfere. If Dugald Kuch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Norman Dorrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Lawlers's Bruno Tarrant got a free kick in the 24th minute. Mark Greenan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cod Easther during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of The Lads United booed when Lawlers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cod Easther didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, The Lads United's Ringo Szobczak tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Edgar Haskell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brockman Freel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 37th match minute, Lawlers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cod Easther to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute of the match Belton Morey sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edmundson Shorten skillfully saved the ball. The Lads United's Bath Crampton got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mark Greenan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundson Shorten having to interfere. The supporters of The Lads United booed when Lawlers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dugald Kuch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Edmundson Shorten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bath Crampton, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. If Dugald Kuch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dugald Kuch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Brockman Freel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Lawlers defense, Mark Greenan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmundson Shorten. The Lawlers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmundson Shorten should have stopped the shot. Dugald Kuch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th match minute, The Lads United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Surman to maneuver through the defense. Dugald Kuch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Brockman Freel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dugald Kuch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, The Lads United's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Tenser came free, but Brockman Freel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Mark Greenan managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Lads United's supporters rose to their feet, but Mark Greenan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmundson Shorten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mark Greenan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bath Crampton in the 84th minute of play forced Lawlers's goalkeeper Edmundson Shorten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Bath Crampton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 95 played minutes The Lads United got a freekick which was hit by Clark Czaczka. In the 95th minute of the match Arty Lyle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brockman Freel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
