Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Everitt Flesfader got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doyle Paull in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Byron Kile prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Liverpool United's zone, Doyle Paull stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Byron Kile came out of the goal and Doyle Paull tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rufus Kerville recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Meyer Lamb was a little too slow when Everitt Flesfader got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. When Lockhart's Doyle Paull in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Liverpool United's goalie prevented a goal. If Everitt Flesfader had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doyle Paull sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lockhart's Meyer Lamb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everitt Flesfader in the 25th minute of play. Meyer Lamb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everitt Flesfader, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 34 minutes, Rufus Kerville managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lockhart's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rufus Kerville was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Liverpool United defense, Doyle Paull kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Byron Kile. The Liverpool United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Byron Kile should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Lockhart's zone, Bray Snabl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Meyer Lamb came out of the goal and Bray Snabl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Liverpool United's Everitt Flesfader ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Meyer Lamb. Meyer Lamb yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Doyle Paull struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Byron Kile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lockhart. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doyle Paull stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 59 minutes, Russ Spurr mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lockhart and the Liverpool United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lockhart! In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Liverpool United. Russ Stageman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Meyer Lamb. 3-1. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lockhart's goalkeeper Meyer Lamb, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Meyer Lamb came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Liverpool United's Bernie Borserio. But to his dismay, Bernie Borserio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Meyer Lamb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bray Snabl in the 75th minute of the match. Meyer Lamb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bray Snabl in the 80th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Everitt Flesfader in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Meyer Lamb saved Lockhart from getting behind. Everitt Flesfader's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Meyer Lamb read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Everitt Flesfader received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Meyer Lamb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Everitt Flesfader managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverpool United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Everitt Flesfader was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Everitt Flesfader sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the game, Carl Belford was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liverpool United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lockhart the free kick. In the 97th match minute, Liverpool United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Belford to maneuver through the defense.
