The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ozzie Hands to strike the kick off in the second half. If Ozzie Hands had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. Carlisle Oreilly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Fletcher Moon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Yakapari's Ozzie Hands got a free kick in the 94th minute. A collision led to Mingay getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Ralph Quinn hit a great ball. Yakapari's Quade Franklin got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
