Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Randall Smoothey started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Barnes Willison made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Bo Couzens sent off a good shot on target. Andy Sugden hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, Lambton's goal looked a bit too open when Eavan Couzens came free, but Brand Whittington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marms FC's Barnes Willison proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Marms FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Lambton booed when Marms FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iggy Stanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Daniel Slattery fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lambton's protests and gave Daniel Slattery a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Lambton got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Slattery. Bo Couzens made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 26thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Barnes Willison would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Marms FC's Barnes Willison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Slattery in the 33rd minute of play. After 33rd play minutes Daniel Slattery shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Barnes Willison and just under the crossbar into goal. 36 minutes into the match, Marms FC's goalkeeper Barnes Willison had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bo Couzens. Barnes Willison made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Bo Couzens sent off a good shot on target. Bent Tinsley's late challenge caught a Lambton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bent Tinsley helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Marms FC's Bent Tinsley got a free kick in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Lambton's Bo Couzens got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Barnes Willison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marshall Tisdell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Lambton's Peter Bowen got a free kick in the 55th minute. Marshall Tisdell struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Barnes Willison didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lambton. 62 minutes into the game, Lambton's Bo Couzens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Barnes Willison made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Lambton's Bo Couzens in 65 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Barnes Willison guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 70 minutes into the match, Marshall Tisdell notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Marms FC's Barnes Willison. Barnes Willison was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Barnes Willison didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bo Couzens went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Marms FC defense, Marshall Tisdell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barnes Willison. The Marms FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barnes Willison should have stopped the shot. Bent Tinsley hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. When Abbott Butterfield came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Lambton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abbott Butterfield couldn't finish the play. Barnes Willison came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Lambton's Bo Couzens. But to his dismay, Bo Couzens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 91st minute Marshall Tisdell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barnes Willison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 played minutes Marms FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrew Locke. The supporters of Marms FC booed when Lambton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berry Butterfield didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Lambton were the better team. Lambton's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
