Marms FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cem Alyakut was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Barnes Willison came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Taz´s soccer team's Cem Alyakut. But to his dismay, Cem Alyakut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 25th match minute, Marms FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrew Locke to maneuver through the defense. Lance Fitzsimmons recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Lance Fitzsimmons left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Marms FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bryden Trevena came free, but Barnes Willison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Bryden Trevena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taz´s soccer team's supporters rose to their feet, but Bryden Trevena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barnes Willison breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Barnes Willison didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Taz´s soccer team's Lance Fitzsimmons shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. The Marms FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Taz´s soccer team were winning 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bray Murphy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cem Alyakut got free with Barnes Willison in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cem Alyakut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Barnes Willison read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After 70 played minutes Marms FC got a freekick which was hit by Eavan Couzens. The audience was convinced that Lance Fitzsimmons's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Barnes Willison was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Bray Murphy scored 1-5 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Álvaro Montero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 80 minutes, Cem Alyakut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taz´s soccer team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cem Alyakut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Cem Alyakut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lance Fitzsimmons who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Barnes Willison when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cem Alyakut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lance Fitzsimmons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute.
