Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The Z Team's Barney Groves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sam Aistrope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clifford Dale in the 3rd minute of play. If Barney Groves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Z Team's Sam Aistrope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jagger Brotherton in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, The Z Team's Arne Mueller got a free kick in the 16th minute. Jagger Brotherton struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Sam Aistrope didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harford. 20 minutes into the match, The Z Team's goal looked a bit too open when Clifford Dale came free, but Sam Aistrope reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sam Aistrope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clifford Dale in the 21st minute of the match. Barney Groves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Clifford Dale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sam Aistrope was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Jagger Brotherton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Sam Aistrope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sam Aistrope didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jagger Brotherton went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jagger Brotherton in the 41st minute of play forced The Z Team's goalkeeper Sam Aistrope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sam Aistrope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clifford Dale, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jagger Brotherton was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Harford booed when The Z Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin Eversden didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, Alberto Ludwick sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and The Z Team's Sam Aistrope didn't even have to move. 60 minutes into the match, Harford's goal looked a bit too open when Rod Glover came free, but Stewart Tencer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rod Glover charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rod Glover the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th match minute, The Z Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Castner to maneuver through the defense. Jagger Brotherton was extremely unlucky when he, in the 67th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Harford's Clifford Dale got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clifford Dale struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Sam Aistrope didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harford. After a rather tough play, Harford's Howie Nobes got a free kick in the 80th minute. Stewart Tencer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barney Groves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Harford's zone, Barney Groves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stewart Tencer came out of the goal and Barney Groves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Harford's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
