Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jagger Brotherton got the match started through his kick off. Benjy Brophy might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stewart Tencer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjy Brophy ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 8th minute Jagger Brotherton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Hinwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jagger Brotherton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Hinwood having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Jagger Brotherton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harford's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jagger Brotherton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stewart Tencer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Adair in the 16th minute of play. Howie Nobes hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Harford's Jagger Brotherton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henry Hinwood narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 23 played minutes Kooringal got a freekick which was hit by Stan Shipman. Jagger Brotherton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kenneth Day's late challenge caught a Harford's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kenneth Day helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kooringal's Kenneth Day got a free kick in the 28th minute. Edwardo Galvin hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Clifford Dale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harford's supporters rose to their feet, but Clifford Dale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henry Hinwood breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 36 minutes, Howie Nobes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harford's supporters crossed their fingers, but Howie Nobes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harford's Jagger Brotherton got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 48 minutes into the match, Kooringal's goal looked a bit too open when Jagger Brotherton came free, but Henry Hinwood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelo Adair to strike the kick off in the second half. If Angelo Adair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kooringal's Henry Hinwood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clifford Dale in the 57th minute of play. Stewart Tencer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Adair in the 60th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Kooringal defense, Clifford Dale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henry Hinwood. The Kooringal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Hinwood should have stopped the shot. In the 72nd minute, Angelo Adair made a precise shot to the right of Stewart Tencer. Harford's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 76th minute Clifford Dale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Hinwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Byrne Ambrose charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Byrne Ambrose the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kooringal getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Byrne Ambrose hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Fabian Willison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stewart Tencer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjy Brophy in the 84th minute. Marco Oreilly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Benjy Brophy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Lunt hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clifford Dale in the 91st minute of play forced Kooringal's goalkeeper Henry Hinwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjy Brophy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Kooringal players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Harford from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
