The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, 柳银风 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Álvaro Montero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Biggs Hanslow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 8 played minutes Taz´s soccer team got a freekick which was hit by Henry Hanslow. Álvaro Montero came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Dunder Mifflin FC's Biggs Hanslow. But to his dismay, Biggs Hanslow quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 16th match minute, Taz´s soccer team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loud Quinnell to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Taz´s soccer team's goal looked a bit too open when 柳银风 came free, but Álvaro Montero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Álvaro Montero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 柳银风 in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Loud Quinnell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Álvaro Montero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from James Carragher, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Taz´s soccer team's goal looked a bit too open when 柳银风 came free, but Álvaro Montero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Taz´s soccer team's Lance Fitzsimmons slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teofil Kosmatka. That made the score 1-2 after 38 minutes of play. 柳银风 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Álvaro Montero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Biggs Hanslow charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Biggs Hanslow the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Taz´s soccer team booed when Dunder Mifflin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Biggs Hanslow didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lance Fitzsimmons to make the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Taz´s soccer team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cem Alyakut to maneuver through the defense. Loud Quinnell kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of Taz´s soccer team booed when Dunder Mifflin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bran Hodge didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Taz´s soccer team's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Murphey Ross fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. During the 66th minute of the match Biggs Hanslow completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Biggs Hanslow a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Henry Hanslow recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 柳银风 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Álvaro Montero came out and tried to block the shot, but 柳银风 slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Taz´s soccer team's zone, Murphey Ross stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Álvaro Montero came out of the goal and Murphey Ross tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Taz´s soccer team's Bryden Trevena got a free kick in the 80th minute. 柳银风 in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Álvaro Montero, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dunder Mifflin FC's Murphey Ross got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Howard Cochrane's late challenge caught a Taz´s soccer team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Howard Cochrane helped the player get up and apologised. Teofil Kosmatka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lance Fitzsimmons in the 89th minute of play. Teofil Kosmatka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lance Fitzsimmons, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After a rather tough play, Taz´s soccer team's Henry Hanslow got a free kick in the 95th minute. Dunder Mifflin FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
