Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute Randall Smoothey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam Aistrope saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, Randall Smoothey recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sam Aistrope. Randall Smoothey showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Bo Couzens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bo Couzens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, The Z Team's Bernie Sparrow got a free kick in the 21st minute. Peter Bowen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Sam Aistrope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Randall Smoothey in the 25th minute of the match. Peter Bowen hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Lambton's Daniel Slattery got a free kick in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lambton's zone, Rod Glover stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brand Whittington came out of the goal and Rod Glover tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the match, The Z Team's goalkeeper Sam Aistrope had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bo Couzens. Edwin Eversden hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
After 56 minutes, Bo Couzens made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. The Z Team's Sam Aistrope tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Randall Smoothey in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sam Aistrope saved The Z Team from getting behind. Brand Whittington made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Rod Glover sent off a good shot on target. Bo Couzens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69th play minutes Bo Couzens shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Sam Aistrope and just under the crossbar into goal. Daniel Slattery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74th play minutes Randall Smoothey shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Sam Aistrope and just under the crossbar into goal. Bo Couzens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sam Aistrope having to interfere. In the 81st minute Randall Smoothey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam Aistrope saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Z Team's Sam Aistrope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Couzens in the 83rd minute of play. Sam Aistrope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Randall Smoothey in the 85th minute of the match. A collision led to The Z Team getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Arne Mueller hit a great ball. Sam Aistrope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randall Smoothey in the 88th minute of play. Sam Aistrope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Couzens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berny Pearse charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Berny Pearse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Berny Pearse hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Sam Aistrope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Couzens in the 93rd minute of the match. Bo Couzens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Sam Aistrope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Lambton were the better team. Lambton's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
