Álvaro Montero made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Arne Mueller sent off a good shot on target. Cem Alyakut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sam Aistrope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lance Fitzsimmons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sam Aistrope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cem Alyakut, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute, Cem Alyakut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Z Team's Sam Aistrope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cem Alyakut in the 21st minute of play. When Taz´s soccer team's Lance Fitzsimmons in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye The Z Team's goalie prevented a goal. It was beautiful to see Taz´s soccer team's Cem Alyakut in action when he in the 31st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 34 minutes, Lance Fitzsimmons made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. The Z Team's Sam Aistrope tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Olavo Freitas struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Sam Aistrope didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taz´s soccer team. If Lance Fitzsimmons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 45 minutes, Lance Fitzsimmons managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taz´s soccer team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lance Fitzsimmons was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sam Aistrope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cem Alyakut in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barney Groves to strike the kick off in the second half. Álvaro Montero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rod Glover in the 58th minute of the match. Lance Fitzsimmons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Sam Aistrope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Sam Aistrope managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Taz´s soccer team's Lance Fitzsimmons fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 68th minute of the match Taz´s soccer team got a corner. The Z Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henry Hanslow ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Henry Hanslow almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Z Team's Sam Aistrope did a great save. Lance Fitzsimmons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lance Fitzsimmons came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Taz´s soccer team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lance Fitzsimmons couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Taz´s soccer team booed when The Z Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rod Glover didn't get a good kick on the ball. Loud Quinnell kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Cem Alyakut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sam Aistrope having to interfere. Taz´s soccer team's attack was well implemented in the 90th minute, but when Lance Fitzsimmons was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After a rather tough play, Taz´s soccer team's Bryden Trevena got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Taz´s soccer team's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
