Spectators: 7700 (Terracing: 5775, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 154) Calleen's Cregan Kayrooz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Lance Fitzsimmons's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Payton Dalglish was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 14th minute, Lance Fitzsimmons ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Payton Dalglish was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiger Groves got free with Álvaro Montero in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute Lance Fitzsimmons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Payton Dalglish saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cem Alyakut might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Payton Dalglish. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cem Alyakut ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cem Alyakut in the 28th minute of play forced Calleen's goalkeeper Payton Dalglish to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Lance Fitzsimmons managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taz´s soccer team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lance Fitzsimmons was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute Lance Fitzsimmons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Payton Dalglish saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lance Fitzsimmons in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Payton Dalglish saved Calleen from getting behind. In the 34th match minute, Calleen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Turnbull to maneuver through the defense. Taz´s soccer team's Lance Fitzsimmons got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Payton Dalglish took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lance Fitzsimmons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Payton Dalglish came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Taz´s soccer team's Lance Fitzsimmons. But to his dismay, Lance Fitzsimmons quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lance Fitzsimmons to strike the kick off in the second half. Cem Alyakut might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Payton Dalglish. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cem Alyakut ran back to his position shaking his head. When Angelo Turnbull came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Calleen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Turnbull couldn't finish the play. Lorimer Owens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Payton Dalglish didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 58th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. 63 minutes into the match, Calleen's goal looked a bit too open when Cem Alyakut came free, but Payton Dalglish reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lance Fitzsimmons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Calleen's Payton Dalglish got control of the ball when Cem Alyakut tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 67th minute, Benard Pinal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lance Fitzsimmons could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Payton Dalglish made a huge save. 87 minutes into the match, Taz´s soccer team's Cem Alyakut sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Payton Dalglish narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Calleen getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Kale Schulze hit a great ball. Payton Dalglish made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Lance Fitzsimmons sent off a good shot on target. After 93 minutes, Angelo Turnbull mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calleen and the Taz´s soccer team players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute, Angelo Turnbull hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lance Fitzsimmons in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Payton Dalglish saved Calleen from getting behind. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Taz´s soccer team eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
