Barnes Willison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Biggs Hanslow, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Iggy Stanton was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. The referee gave Dunder Mifflin FC a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by 柳银风, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Marms FC's Barnes Willison. 0-1. Barnes Willison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Biggs Hanslow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boyd Munday took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Teofil Kosmatka. Dunder Mifflin FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dunder Mifflin FC's 柳银风 got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the game, Biggs Hanslow cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Barnes Willison was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Biggs Hanslow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 柳银风 made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Dunder Mifflin FC's Biggs Hanslow ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Barnes Willison. Barnes Willison yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. After having played for 56 minutes, Murphey Ross managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dunder Mifflin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murphey Ross was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eavan Couzens struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Teofil Kosmatka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marms FC. 柳银风 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barnes Willison having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Marms FC's Jervis Ward sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teofil Kosmatka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Howard Cochrane's late challenge caught a Marms FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Barnes Willison was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Biggs Hanslow capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Biggs Hanslow really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Marms FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when 柳银风 77 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. In the 83rd minute, Howard Cochrane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grant Dollymore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Barnes Willison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, 柳银风 put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Barnes Willison.
