After a rather tough play, Lambton's Andy Sugden got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 16th minute Randall Smoothey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Montero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute of the game Olavo Freitas made a throw-in which Lance Fitzsimmons played forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorimer Owens got free with Brand Whittington in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brand Whittington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lance Fitzsimmons, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randall Smoothey in the 24th minute of play forced Taz´s soccer team's goalkeeper Álvaro Montero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Álvaro Montero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Slattery in the 25th minute of the match. When Andy Sugden fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lambton's protests and gave Andy Sugden a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, one of Lambton:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lambton. When the match had been going on for 28 minutes, Taz´s soccer team's Henry Hanslow got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Brand Whittington. In the 31st minute Randall Smoothey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Montero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Álvaro Montero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Randall Smoothey in the 32nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lambton's zone, Lance Fitzsimmons stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brand Whittington came out of the goal and Lance Fitzsimmons tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Álvaro Montero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Couzens in the 40th minute of play. Álvaro Montero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Slattery in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Lance Fitzsimmons was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taz´s soccer team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lambton the free kick. Lance Fitzsimmons kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Lambton's Abbott Butterfield managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Henry Hanslow in the 55 minute of the game. A collision led to Lambton getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Randall Smoothey hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute Daniel Slattery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Montero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lance Fitzsimmons recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cem Alyakut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lorimer Owens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Brand Whittington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Slattery could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Álvaro Montero made a huge save. A collision led to Taz´s soccer team getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Henry Hanslow hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Andy Sugden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Taz´s soccer team's Álvaro Montero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Randall Smoothey in the 84th minute of play. Daniel Slattery could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Álvaro Montero made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randall Smoothey in the 86th minute of play forced Taz´s soccer team's goalkeeper Álvaro Montero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brand Whittington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lance Fitzsimmons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Bowen got free with Álvaro Montero in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Taz´s soccer team's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
