A collision led to Ravens getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Avdon Shenderovich hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Craig Schulze ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Britton Shipp was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laurence Johnson in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Britton Shipp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 15 minutes, Laurence Johnson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ravens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurence Johnson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 24th play minutes Edmund Gavin shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Britton Shipp and just under the crossbar into goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ravens's zone, Belton Hopkins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarrod Addison came out of the goal and Belton Hopkins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Buchanan getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Bryan Orvad hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmund Gavin in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Britton Shipp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Bryan Orvad was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 34 minutes had been played. The supporters of Ravens booed when Buchanan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryan Orvad didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Edmund Gavin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Britton Shipp was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Buchanan defense, Laurence Johnson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Britton Shipp. The Buchanan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Britton Shipp should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Buchanan's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Gavin came free, but Britton Shipp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Ravens were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmund Gavin to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Edmund Gavin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buchanan's Britton Shipp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laurence Johnson struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Britton Shipp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ravens. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laurence Johnson in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Britton Shipp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Laurence Johnson in the 61st play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Britton Shipp kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-6 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Edmund Gavin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elliot Butterfield hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute of the match, Laurence Johnson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Britton Shipp saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Buchanan getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Barnes Slattery hit a great ball. Britton Shipp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laurence Johnson's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Laurence Johnson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Britton Shipp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmund Gavin in the 88th minute. After 90 minutes of play, Ravens's Edmund Gavin made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Britton Shipp was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Edmund Gavin sped through Buchanan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Britton Shipp. Ravens played a much better game than Buchanan and deserved their victory. The Buchanan players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
