Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Barnabas Sennett started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Andrews Spurr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Barry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrick Haeberle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rod Mclatchey having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, Grimulators was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bleyd Mccormick to maneuver through the defense. Robert Maciver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Grimulators booed when Beachton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Didlick didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnabas Sennett in the 31st minute of play forced Beachton's goalkeeper Luke Giles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brennan Ward kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 37th minute, one of Grimulators:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Grimulators. When the match had been going on for 39 minutes, Beachton's Andy Meyers got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rod Mclatchey. If Carlos Barry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robert Maciver made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Beachton's zone, Andrews Spurr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luke Giles came out of the goal and Andrews Spurr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bleyd Mccormick hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Patrick Haeberle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patrick Haeberle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Maciver in the 65th minute of play forced Grimulators's goalkeeper Rod Mclatchey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Maciver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Maciver in the 75th minute of play forced Grimulators's goalkeeper Rod Mclatchey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rod Mclatchey came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Beachton's Patrick Haeberle. But to his dismay, Patrick Haeberle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Haeberle in the 83rd minute of play forced Grimulators's goalkeeper Rod Mclatchey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Barry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Barry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Luke Giles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grimulators's Andrews Egel got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rod Mclatchey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Maciver in the 94th minute of play.
