Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Britton Shipp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvin Devine in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Buchanan's Belton Hopkins got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Alvin Devine came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Sunnyside fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvin Devine couldn't finish the play. After 24 minutes, Alvin Devine mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sunnyside and the Buchanan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Sunnyside was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvin Devine to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Alvin Devine ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Britton Shipp was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Philip Hicks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the game, Clarke Babbage was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buchanan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sunnyside the free kick. After a rather tough play, Buchanan's Clarke Babbage got a free kick in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Philip Hicks notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Buchanan's Britton Shipp. Britton Shipp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Britton Shipp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvin Devine in the 44th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvin Devine to strike the kick off in the second half. Alvin Devine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Britton Shipp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 played minutes Sunnyside got a freekick which was hit by Darin Munday. Belton Hopkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brooks Mccartan having to interfere. With a little luck, Buchanan's Britton Shipp got control of the ball when Philip Hicks tried to sneak it across the goal line. Belton Hopkins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Brooks Mccartan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Darin Munday hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Adolph Ross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Sunnyside's goal looked a bit too open when Barnes Slattery came free, but Brooks Mccartan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute Barnes Slattery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brooks Mccartan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barnes Slattery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Buchanan's goal looked a bit too open when Alvin Devine came free, but Britton Shipp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Belton Hopkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sunnyside's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
