Spectators: 7459 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 159) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bo Riley kicked off to start the match. When Laurence Yard fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lambina's protests and gave Laurence Yard a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes Lambina got a freekick which was hit by Laurence Yard. 9 minutes into the match, Lambina's goal looked a bit too open when Barnes Slattery came free, but Barnes Claringbold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lambina's Barnes Claringbold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnes Slattery in the 15th minute of play. Bo Riley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Britton Shipp having to interfere. Barnes Claringbold came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Buchanan's Belton Hopkins. But to his dismay, Belton Hopkins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Buchanan getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Duke Quinane hit a great ball. When Bo Riley came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Lambina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bo Riley couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Lambina's Britton Shipp threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Brown Limmer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A nice corner shot did that Matt Jackson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Britton Shipp quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 46th minute, Bo Riley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barnes Slattery to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match, Barnes Slattery tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Barnes Claringbold saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Belton Hopkins took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Barnes Claringbold. Barnes Claringbold dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 62 minutes into the match, Lambina's goalkeeper Barnes Claringbold had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Belton Hopkins. 68 minutes into the game, Bo Riley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lambina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buchanan the free kick. Bo Riley kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Lambina's Matt Jackson got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Britton Shipp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matt Jackson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Brown Limmer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bo Riley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Buchanan's goal looked a bit too open when Brown Limmer came free, but Britton Shipp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Britton Shipp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matt Jackson in the 83rd minute of play. Laurence Yard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bo Riley might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Britton Shipp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bo Riley ran back to his position shaking his head. Lambina's Matt Jackson got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Lambina supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Buchanan's performance. The match ended with a win for Buchanan.
