Elliott Frew blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Clubley having to make a save. If Jess Beer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Brown Limmer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Matt Jackson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jessop Wivell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Clubley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matt Jackson in the 40th minute of play. If Matt Jackson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jess Beer was the one to do the kick off. Matt Jackson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Clubley having to interfere. Lambina's Bo Riley got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Rodd Chapman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brown Limmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Dante Clubley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Jessop Wivell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lambina's supporters rose to their feet, but Jessop Wivell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Clubley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bo Riley's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Clubley firmly grabbed it by the left post. 70 minutes into the match, Jarvis Castray notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Lambina's Barnes Claringbold. Barnes Claringbold was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Russ Byrnes charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Russ Byrnes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 85 minutes into the match, Chelsea's goal looked a bit too open when Matt Jackson came free, but Dante Clubley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barnes Claringbold didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jess Beer went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Chelsea's zone, Brown Limmer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Clubley came out of the goal and Brown Limmer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matt Jackson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Dante Clubley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
