The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Curtis Waterland managed to get in a good position for a shot. PINKBULL 19's supporters rose to their feet, but Curtis Waterland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jamese Morse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Curtis Waterland put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jamese Morse. If Curtis Waterland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PINKBULL 19's Curtis Waterland got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Curtis Waterland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Brye Cassilly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remy Bunworth acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 33rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cole Deeth. In the 40th minute Curtis Waterland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jamese Morse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Browne Norman to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in PINKBULL 19's zone, Browne Norman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remy Bunworth came out of the goal and Browne Norman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jamese Morse was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Donovan Keayes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 56 minute of play. If Curtis Waterland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 minutes Minvest Lucky United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tommy Boyd who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on PINKBULL 19's corner Tommy Boyd fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jamese Morse quite easily take care of the ball. Curtis Waterland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jamese Morse having to interfere. The supporters of Minvest Lucky United booed when PINKBULL 19 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donovan Keayes didn't get a good kick on the ball. PINKBULL 19's Remy Bunworth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Browne Norman in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Minvest Lucky United getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. David Clubley hit a great ball. In the 75th minute of the match PINKBULL 19 got a corner. Minvest Lucky United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tommy Boyd ran over to the corner to take the kick. Curtis Waterland had several of the Minvest Lucky United's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 83 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Jamese Morse as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 86th minute, James Conlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brye Cassilly struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Remy Bunworth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minvest Lucky United. Remy Bunworth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Browne Norman, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.
