Spectators: 7382 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1852, VIP seats: 30) Cregan Boots started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Blake Goodward kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Kangaroo's Cregan Boots got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kirby Stebbing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Aylwin in the 6th minute of play. After 7 minutes of play, Kangaroo's Paul Aylwin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kirby Stebbing was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kirby Stebbing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cregan Boots, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Aylwin in the 13th minute of play forced Kayuga's goalkeeper Kirby Stebbing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cain Digiuseppe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Jervis Pincini made a huge save. With a little luck, Kangaroo's Jervis Pincini got control of the ball when Cain Digiuseppe tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kayuga's Cain Digiuseppe got a free kick in the 21st minute. If Paul Aylwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Paul Aylwin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paul Aylwin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Kirby Stebbing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kayuga's Kirby Stebbing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Aylwin in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Cregan Boots managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kangaroo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cregan Boots was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paul Aylwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kangaroo's Paul Aylwin got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Belton Sobczak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jervis Pincini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Belton Sobczak made the kick off in the second half. Jervis Pincini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cain Digiuseppe in the 53rd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Kirby Stebbing successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 60 minutes of play, Kayuga's Cain Digiuseppe made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jervis Pincini was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kayuga's Kirby Stebbing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Kayuga from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Kangaroo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kayuga:s goal. 78 minutes into the match, Kayuga's goalkeeper Kirby Stebbing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paul Aylwin. Kirby Stebbing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cregan Boots, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paul Aylwin got free with Kirby Stebbing in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Paul Aylwin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kangaroo's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Aylwin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kirby Stebbing breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the match, Kayuga's goalkeeper Kirby Stebbing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paul Aylwin. If Paul Aylwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kangaroo's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Kayuga had won, even though Kangaroo had held more of the ball.
