Jervis Durbridge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Tayene's goal looked a bit too open when Cregan Boots came free, but Best Renney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Birrell Stageman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cregan Boots in the 14th minute of play forced Tayene's goalkeeper Best Renney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Tayene's goalkeeper Best Renney had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Randle Didlock. 16 minutes into the match, Tayene's goal looked a bit too open when Rod Voller came free, but Best Renney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Cregan Boots shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Best Renney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Cregan Boots dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Best Renney, 1-0. Best Renney stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rod Voller's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute, Kangaroo's Randle Didlock dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Rod Voller charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rod Voller the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rod Voller hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Jamese Cowdell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Best Renney having to interfere. With 39 minutes on the clock, Kenneth Tucknott commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Best Renney had in the 41stth minute some difficulties stopping Everett Gwin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Kangaroo's Paul Aylwin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Best Renney. That made the score 3-0 after 43 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
Luke Fasey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jervis Pincini having to interfere. Tayene's Best Renney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rod Voller in the 54th minute of play. Burtt Crawford did an outstanding performance 61 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 3-1 to the right of an irritated Jervis Pincini in the goal. If Burtt Crawford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th match minute, Tayene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burtt Crawford to maneuver through the defense. Best Renney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Aylwin in the 71st minute of the match. Tayene's Best Renney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cregan Boots in the 75th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Cregan Boots made a precise shot to the right of Best Renney. Tayene's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 80th minute of the game, Jamese Cowdell landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Jervis Durbridge charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jervis Durbridge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 80 played minutes Tayene got a freekick which was hit by Jervis Durbridge. Best Renney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Aylwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul Aylwin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Best Renney having to make a save. Tayene's Burtt Crawford got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Burtt Crawford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jervis Pincini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rod Voller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul Aylwin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Best Renney having to make a save.
