Brye Legg might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ray Clist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brye Legg ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Gracemere getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Elliott Watman hit a great ball. Brye Legg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16thth minute of the game Jess Blestowe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Heidenheim's Braedan Argoud was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brown Unicomb in the 17th minute of play forced FC Heidenheim's goalkeeper Braedan Argoud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arnold Mcjenkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, FC Heidenheim's goalkeeper Braedan Argoud had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brown Unicomb. Braedan Argoud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jess Blestowe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Braedan Argoud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jess Blestowe, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Arnold Mcjenkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ray Clist having to interfere. If Brye Legg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Arnold Mcjenkins came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the FC Heidenheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnold Mcjenkins couldn't finish the play. After 42 minutes, Jacob Groves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gracemere and the FC Heidenheim players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, Gracemere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacob Groves to maneuver through the defense. Berkeley Blattman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ray Clist. Gracemere's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FC Heidenheim's Braedan Argoud proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save FC Heidenheim from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute, Brye Legg made a precise shot to the right of Ray Clist. Gracemere's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brye Legg was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Gracemere's Brown Unicomb sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Braedan Argoud narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 62 minutes, Jess Blestowe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gracemere's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jess Blestowe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd match minute, FC Heidenheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herman Willding to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gracemere's goalkeeper Ray Clist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Murdock Everett's late challenge caught a FC Heidenheim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Murdock Everett helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 played minutes Gracemere got a freekick which was hit by Murdock Everett. After a rather tough play, Gracemere's Murdock Everett got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Arnold Mcjenkins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Jess Blestowe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Heidenheim's Brye Legg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ray Clist. That made the score 0-2 after 82 minutes of play. Jess Blestowe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braedan Argoud having to interfere. FC Heidenheim's Brye Legg got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Heidenheim's Brye Legg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ray Clist. That made the score 0-3 after 94 minutes of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Heidenheim eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
