Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Earle Minne started the match with the kick off. Earle Minne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Braedan Argoud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Heidenheim's Braedan Argoud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Earle Minne in the 10th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Otto Weeks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Perth Lynx's Bent Pfingst got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Earle Minne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perth Lynx's supporters rose to their feet, but Earle Minne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Braedan Argoud breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Fabrizio Tout fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perth Lynx's protests and gave Fabrizio Tout a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Perth Lynx got a freekick which was hit by Fabrizio Tout. In the 19th minute of the match Berkeley Blattman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edison Fasey skillfully saved the ball. When Artie Haslem fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perth Lynx's protests and gave Artie Haslem a yellow card for diving instead. Artie Haslem hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Edison Fasey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brye Legg, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Arnold Mcjenkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edison Fasey having to interfere. Edison Fasey made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Brye Legg sent off a good shot on target. FC Heidenheim's Arnold Mcjenkins got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Perth Lynx's Edison Fasey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Perth Lynx from getting a goal against them. Fabrizio Tout hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Earle Minne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brye Legg to make the kick off. Herman Willding hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Earle Minne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bent Pfingst recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Heidenheim's Brye Legg got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Perth Lynx's Edison Fasey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnold Mcjenkins in the 68th minute of play. During the 71st minute of the match Artie Haslem completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Artie Haslem a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 71st match minute, Perth Lynx was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artie Haslem to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Perth Lynx's goal looked a bit too open when Brye Legg came free, but Edison Fasey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Arnold Mcjenkins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edison Fasey was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. 93 minutes into the match, FC Heidenheim's goalkeeper Braedan Argoud had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bent Pfingst. Arnold Mcjenkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edison Fasey having to interfere. Edison Fasey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brye Legg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Perth Lynx were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
