Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) FC Heidenheim's Brye Legg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Preston Jeffress fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braedan Argoud having to interfere. Ike Schenck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Braedan Argoud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ike Schenck came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Azure FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ike Schenck couldn't finish the play. FC Heidenheim's Brye Legg got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 17 played minutes Brye Legg rounded Azure FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 32nd minute, Otto Weeks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Russell Natt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Braedan Argoud. FC Heidenheim's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnold Mcjenkins got free with Corbett Sobczak in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Preston Jeffress came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Azure FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Preston Jeffress couldn't finish the play. Preston Jeffress might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Braedan Argoud. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Preston Jeffress ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Brye Legg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Heidenheim's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Preston Jeffress scored to the left of an out of position Braedan Argoud, making the score, 1-1. If Preston Jeffress had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corbett Sobczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnold Mcjenkins, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 74 minutes in the game, Ike Schenck fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Braedan Argoud having to interfere. Corbett Sobczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brye Legg in the 76th minute of play. In the 83rd minute Preston Jeffress shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braedan Argoud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Preston Jeffress fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braedan Argoud having to interfere. FC Heidenheim's Braedan Argoud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Preston Jeffress in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Ike Schenck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azure FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ike Schenck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Preston Jeffress recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Despite being the better team, Azure FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
