Spectators: 7957 (Terracing: 6014, Seating: 1843, VIP seats: 100) Glendart's Kirby Brandie started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 minutes Belmunging's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bremen Beattie who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Belmunging's goalie and right to Edmund Kuskopf. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Belmunging's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Danny Awage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abraham Mundine having to interfere. After having played for 12 minutes, Kevin Bowie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belmunging's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Bowie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute, Bremen Beattie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kevin Bowie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kenneth Ashwin charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kenneth Ashwin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kenneth Ashwin hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Ryan Wayland took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Darrell Oconnell. Glendart's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Darrell Oconnell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brookes Gannan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Belmunging booed when Glendart was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Ashwin didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Glendart getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Eliot Boyd hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Belmunging's Ryan Wayland tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Darrell Oconnell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brookes Gannan, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brookes Gannan in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Darrell Oconnell saved Glendart from getting behind. In the 38th minute Brookes Gannan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darrell Oconnell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kevin Bowie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Kevin Bowie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darrell Oconnell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brookes Gannan made a kick off. Jagger Lord hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. If Kirby Brandie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brookes Gannan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Glendart's Darrell Oconnell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brookes Gannan in the 67th minute of play. A hard shot 69 in the game by Kevin Bowie from a close distance when the talented Darrell Oconnell managed to make a qualified save. Glendart's players were relieved. The supporters of Belmunging booed when Glendart was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliot Boyd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kevin Bowie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Darrell Oconnell having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Kirby Brandie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glendart's supporters rose to their feet, but Kirby Brandie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abraham Mundine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abraham Mundine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danny Awage, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brookes Gannan in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Darrell Oconnell saved Glendart from getting behind. 92 minutes into the match, Glendart's goalkeeper Darrell Oconnell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kevin Bowie. If Kirby Brandie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
