The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Rudy Macumber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jemmett Jeffress was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. In the 6th minute, Rudy Macumber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Archie Awage hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the game, Rudy Macumber cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jemmett Jeffress was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Rudy Macumber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jumbuk's supporters rose to their feet, but Rudy Macumber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jemmett Jeffress breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Soccer Club 2020's goalie and right to Archie Rheistein. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Soccer Club 2020's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Luck Allen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keefe Samuels having to interfere. Nathaniel Brotherton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Soccer Club 2020's Keefe Samuels threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nathaniel Brotherton, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 55thth minute of the game Rudy Macumber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soccer Club 2020's Jemmett Jeffress was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rudy Macumber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jemmett Jeffress tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bud Tauschke in the 59th minute of play forced Jumbuk's goalkeeper Keefe Samuels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Archie Awage kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jemmett Jeffress. That made the score 1-2 in the 67 minute of play. When Soccer Club 2020's Bradshaw Fison in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jumbuk's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 74 minutes, Bradshaw Fison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soccer Club 2020's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bradshaw Fison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Keefe Samuels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nathaniel Brotherton in the 76th minute of play. Bradshaw Fison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Keefe Samuels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Rudy Macumber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jumbuk's supporters rose to their feet, but Rudy Macumber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jemmett Jeffress breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Keefe Samuels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradshaw Fison in the 80th minute of play. Rudy Macumber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Archie Awage charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Archie Awage the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Archie Awage kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Jumbuk's Archie Awage got a free kick in the 91st minute. Soccer Club 2020's Duke Aroege couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Jumbuk. Jumbuk's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
