Seating: 1858, VIP seats: 160) Brookes Gannan made the kick off and thus started the match. Rudy Macumber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abraham Mundine having to interfere. Kevin Bowie who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Keefe Samuels when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Keefe Samuels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brookes Gannan in the 9th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Rudy Macumber put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Abraham Mundine. Kevin Bowie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Keefe Samuels made a huge save. In the 19th minute Brookes Gannan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keefe Samuels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jumbuk's Rudy Macumber got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudy Macumber in the 30th minute of play forced Belmunging's goalkeeper Abraham Mundine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phillip Fynn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Abraham Mundine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rudy Macumber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rudy Macumber came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Jumbuk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudy Macumber couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, Belmunging's goal looked a bit too open when Rudy Macumber came free, but Abraham Mundine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abraham Mundine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Archie Rheistein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudy Macumber in the 47th minute of play forced Belmunging's goalkeeper Abraham Mundine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rudy Macumber to make the kick off. Thomas Marcola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Keefe Samuels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jumbuk's Rudy Macumber got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kevin Bowie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Keefe Samuels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Keefe Samuels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Bowie in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Belmunging's goal looked a bit too open when Rudy Macumber came free, but Abraham Mundine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Archie Rheistein was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jumbuk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belmunging the free kick. In the 73rd minute, Kevin Bowie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keefe Samuels was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Brookes Gannan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rudy Macumber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Abraham Mundine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Belmunging players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
