Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bickford Flisfeder started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Quagitup's goal looked a bit too open when Rudy Macumber came free, but Ben Minton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Quagitup's Bickford Flisfeder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keefe Samuels narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rudy Macumber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ben Minton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Matthias Cookesley fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quagitup's protests and gave Matthias Cookesley a yellow card for diving instead. When Jumbuk's Rudy Macumber in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quagitup's goalie prevented a goal. Quagitup's Ben Minton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudy Macumber in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Archie Awage hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brett Heberle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Keefe Samuels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 minutes, Archie Awage mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jumbuk and the Quagitup players grew even worse after the yellow card. Keefe Samuels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bickford Flisfeder in the 26th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Rudy Macumber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ben Minton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Archie Rheistein came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Jumbuk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Archie Rheistein couldn't finish the play. Ben Minton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudy Macumber in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Jumbuk booed when Quagitup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthias Cookesley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rudy Macumber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Archie Rheistein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jumbuk's supporters rose to their feet, but Archie Rheistein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ben Minton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute Rudy Macumber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ben Minton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quagitup's goalkeeper Ben Minton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rudy Macumber in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ben Minton saved Quagitup from getting behind. A collision led to Jumbuk getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Archie Rheistein hit a great ball. Brett Heberle's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Keefe Samuels firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rudy Macumber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ben Minton having to interfere. Keefe Samuels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bickford Flisfeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Archie Awage recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ben Minton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rudy Macumber's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Phillip Fynn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ben Minton having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Rudy Macumber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ben Minton was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Phillip Fynn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ben Minton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Archie Awage kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
