Brayden Sparrow took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Michael Dearn. The Amateurs's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Downing Shorten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quagitup's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Amateurs the free kick. Aron Bowman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Bern Meyers fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quagitup's protests and gave Bern Meyers a yellow card for diving instead. Bern Meyers kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The Amateurs's Fabian Smoothy couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Quagitup. When The Amateurs's Byron Richard in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quagitup's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aron Bowman in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ben Minton saved Quagitup from getting behind. A beautiful save bye Quagitup's goalie prevented a goal. The Amateurs's Aron Bowman got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Quagitup's Ben Minton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Byron Richard in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bickford Flisfeder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jarvis Mills charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarvis Mills the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of The Amateurs booed when Quagitup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarvis Mills didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ben Minton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Bowman, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Hale Tevelien took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Ben Minton to make any attempt to save it. Aron Bowman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Amateurs's Aron Bowman got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arty Heathwood kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Aron Bowman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ben Minton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matthias Cookesley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Amateurs played a much better game than Quagitup and deserved their victory. The Quagitup players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
