If Paz Staggard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 13 minutes into the game, Handley Greenbank cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Bradley Mcneven was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 19th minute of the match SexyMenG got a corner. Backpacker FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jeremy Goucher ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Jeremy Goucher almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Backpacker FC's Andy Belford did a great save. The supporters of Backpacker FC booed when SexyMenG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darin Kile didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jones Hoey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Andy Belford made a huge save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Handley Greenbank stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andy Belford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeffers Solomon in the 52nd minute of play. Jones Hoey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Andy Belford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Backpacker FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Bert Stanton hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Jeremy Goucher sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Backpacker FC's Andy Belford didn't even have to move. The crowd rose to their feet as Handley Greenbank kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bradley Mcneven. That made the score 2-3 in the 85 minute of play. SexyMenG's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Handley Greenbank 89 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-4. Backpacker FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
