After a rather tough play, Cuthbert's Nicholas Kile got a free kick in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the game, Irrintzi Toribia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. North Geelong Warriors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuthbert the free kick. After a rather tough play, North Geelong Warriors's Irrintzi Toribia got a free kick in the 6th minute. Quade Glover took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Art Gaffigan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Art Gaffigan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herman Freeman struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Pierre Colling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for North Geelong Warriors. In the 18th minute of the match Cuthbert got a corner. North Geelong Warriors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eavan Matthes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Eavan Matthes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but North Geelong Warriors's Quade Glover did a great save. Kale Bromfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Colling having to interfere. Herman Freeman in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pierre Colling, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Pierre Colling made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herman Freeman in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Herman Freeman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pierre Colling. Herman Freeman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 30 minutes into the game, Arnold Kean was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. North Geelong Warriors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuthbert the free kick. In the 31st match minute, North Geelong Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnold Kean to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Talha Çeliksu in the 33rd minute of play forced Cuthbert's goalkeeper Pierre Colling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kale Bromfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Colling having to interfere. After 38 played minutes Cuthbert got a freekick which was hit by Drew Starling. Herman Freeman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pierre Colling read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Herman Freeman made the kick off in the second half. North Geelong Warriors's Herman Freeman got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Cuthbert getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Eavan Matthes hit a great ball. Cuthbert's Pierre Colling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herman Freeman in the 57th minute of play. Herman Freeman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pierre Colling having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Cuthbert's zone, Talha Çeliksu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pierre Colling came out of the goal and Talha Çeliksu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the game, North Geelong Warriors's Herman Freeman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pierre Colling made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 68th minute Herman Freeman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre Colling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Dario Quinn in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by North Geelong Warriors's Talha Çeliksu. 72 minutes into the game, Herman Freeman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Pierre Colling was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Irrintzi Toribia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Pierre Colling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herman Freeman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Colling having to interfere. The North Geelong Warriors fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when North Geelong Warriors's Herman Freeman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Irrintzi Toribia got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 92 minutes, Loyd Clarke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuthbert and the North Geelong Warriors players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cuthbert getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Loyd Clarke hit a great ball. If Herman Freeman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. North Geelong Warriors fully deserved thier win.
