Edmonds Hands showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Worrall in the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, David Worrall notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Earlston's Edmonds Hands. Edmonds Hands was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bob Connell made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Grant Bowen sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute David Worrall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmonds Hands saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmonds Hands didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ringo Jeavons went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 34th match minute, Knights Templar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Worrall to maneuver through the defense. Ringo Jeavons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmonds Hands having to interfere. Ringo Jeavons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Edmonds Hands tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ringo Jeavons in the 51st minute of play forced Earlston's goalkeeper Edmonds Hands to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd minute, Ringo Jeavons left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Knights Templar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Edmonds Hands didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 56th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. David Worrall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmonds Hands having to interfere. After having played for 62 minutes, Ringo Jeavons managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. If David Worrall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Earlston's goalkeeper Edmonds Hands had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Worrall. Earlston's Edmonds Hands played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ringo Jeavons in the 69th minute of play. With his leg Edmonds Hands managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Knights Templar's David Worrall fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. David Worrall's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Edmonds Hands skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
