Spectators: 7997 (Terracing: 6043, Seating: 1853, VIP seats: 101) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ringo Jeavons started the match with the kick off. Bob Connell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rob Oshea, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chuck Burmeister during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SexyMenG's Chuck Burmeister got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Knights Templar's Ringo Jeavons dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Jeffers Solomon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Bob Connell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ringo Jeavons recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Biddle Laughton during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th minute, Biddle Laughton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Knights Templar's Abe Best got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind SexyMenG's goalkeeper Bradley Mcneven, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Jones Hoey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Ringo Jeavons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradley Mcneven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, SexyMenG's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after David Worrall fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 43 minutes, Ringo Jeavons managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knights Templar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ringo Jeavons was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, SexyMenG's Bradley Mcneven got control of the ball when David Worrall tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Knights Templar's zone, Rob Oshea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bob Connell came out of the goal and Rob Oshea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeffers Solomon to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abe Best during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jones Hoey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bob Connell having to make a save. If David Worrall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Connor Erwin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ringo Jeavons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ringo Jeavons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bradley Mcneven came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Knights Templar's David Worrall. But to his dismay, David Worrall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ringo Jeavons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Bradley Mcneven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Knights Templar fully deserved thier win.
