When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Herman Freeman sped through Backpacker FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andy Belford. Herman Freeman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Andy Belford skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match was over North Geelong Warriors could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Backpacker FC throughout the match.
