Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edwards Franklin made the kick off which started today's match. Benedict Orvad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwards Franklin in the 7th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Russell Sennett during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Telita getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Russell Sennett hit a great ball. Amos Kinsey struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Benedict Orvad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Duffield. After having played for 19 minutes, Bernard Schulze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Telita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernard Schulze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Telita's zone, Amos Kinsey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedict Orvad came out of the goal and Amos Kinsey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Telita's Benedict Orvad got control of the ball when Amos Kinsey tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edwards Franklin in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedict Orvad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amos Kinsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Edwards Franklin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Duffield's Angelo Bielski got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benedict Orvad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwards Franklin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Duffield's Edwards Franklin got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Amos Kinsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute Edwards Franklin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedict Orvad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benedict Orvad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwards Franklin, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Benedict Orvad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amos Kinsey in the 78th minute of play. Nathaniel Quinn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Virgin having to interfere. In the 82nd minute of the match Russell Sennett sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Virgin skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Duffield booed when Telita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrews Barling didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute of the match Bryson Phillips shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benedict Orvad showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Amos Kinsey came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Duffield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amos Kinsey couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Edwards Franklin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benedict Orvad. Telita's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edwards Franklin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.
