Damian Salcedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grant Bowen in the 9th minute. Grant Bowen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Damian Salcedo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 14 played minutes Damon Barugh rounded Kentville's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Grant Bowen struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Damian Salcedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Earlston. Burtt Krause hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kentville's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Christian Sparrow was slow to take the kick. During this time Earlston's players had a chance to rest. Grant Bowen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Damian Salcedo made a huge save. 37 minutes into the match, Kentville's goal looked a bit too open when Damon Barugh came free, but Damian Salcedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bert Peplow kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After having played for 41 minutes, Hans Lingwoodock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kentville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Lingwoodock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damon Barugh was the one to do the kick off. Damian Salcedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damon Barugh's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute, Damon Barugh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damian Salcedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Grant Bowen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the game, Earlston's Jarvis Crawford nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damian Salcedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Damon Barugh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmonds Hands showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Lingwoodock in the 84th minute of the match. The supporters of Kentville booed when Earlston was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Warren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hans Lingwoodock blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmonds Hands having to make a save. Darryl Bailey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmonds Hands having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Earlston fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kentville had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
